Kenneth Miller

The family of Kenneth Ray Miller request to receive guests in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas, beginning at 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday September 30, 2014, to share in the fond memories of Kenneth Ray Miller. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Kenneth, age 69, was a native of Eunice and a resident of Port Barre. He died on Saturday September 27, 2014 at his residence at 5:05 p.m. surrounded by his family. Kenneth was the owner and operator DM Fireplaces and Pools, Inc. located in Port Barre, LA. He belonged to the Port Barre Volunteer Fire Department and was a member of the Louisiana Cattlemans Association. He loved his family, and also wood working, cattle farming and classic cars. He was a hardworking man, who always put his wife and family first.

Kenneth cherished life surrounded by his grandchildren, children and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his sons Russell Miller and wife Angela Wheaton Miller, Michael Miller and wife Abigail Soileau Miller, daughter Angela Miller Ardoin and husband Roderick B. Ardoin, II, brother Ronald Miller, sister Sandy Matte and seven grandchildren Emily Jayne Miller, Sydney Elise Ardoin, Ethan Brent Ardoin, Maggie Claire Miller, Avery Elizabeth Miller, Lauren Grace Miller and Ryan Michael Miller.

He was preceded in death by his wife Elise Devillier Miller, parents Arthur Ray and Vera Mae Miller.
