Kenneth Guidry

Funeral services for Kenneth Flap J. Guidry will be held at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at 11:00AM with the interment following in Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas. The Rev. Dan Edwards and the Rev. Dale Hensarling will conduct the services.

Mr. Guidry, age 53, was a resident of Opelousas, died at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, on Sunday, September 9, 2007 at 6:25PM.

Kenneth was manager of Coburns Distribution Center in Eunice for 15 years. He was a member of Woodmen of the World. His love was his family and home which also included his farm, cattle and horses. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

The family has requested that donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1604 W, Pinhook St. Lafayette La 70508.

Mr. Guidry is survived by his wife; Connie Sonnier Guidry of Opelousas, his mother; Rena Castille Guidry of Opelousas, 2 sons; Stephen Wayne Bergeron and Paul Warren Bergeron both of Opelousas. A daughter-in-law; Cindy Ortego of Leonville, his sisters; Jeanette Parker of Theodore AL, Elaine Parker and her husband Philip also of Theodore, AL and Becky Andrepont and her husband Scott of Opelousas, 2 grandchildren; Colby Ryan Bergeron and Jordon Paul Bergeron both of Leonville. He is also survived by his special friends; Jimmy Hebert, Ronald Guidry, Clayton Guidry and Mike Bourque. He is also survived by 21 nieces and nephews and numerous friends A Rosary was recited Tuesday evening by Deacon Sammy Diesi.

He was preceded in death by his father; Ewell P. Guidry and his niece; Kaitlyn Scerri

The family has requested that visitation will be on Tuesday from 2:00PM to 10:00PM and will continue on Wednesday from 7:00AM until the time of service.
