Kenneth Credeur

A Mass of Christian Burial for Kenneth James Credeur, age 33, will be held on Monday January 24, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church of Opelousas, La., followed by interment in the Bellevue Memorial Park. The Reverend Paul Bienvenu will be the celebrant of the mass.

Kenneth James Credeur, a native of Opelousas, La., passed away on January 21, 2011. He had a passion for the outdoors, loved to ride 4 wheelers and spend time with his niece, nephews and many friends.

He is survived by his parents Billy E. Linda G. Mathews of Gonzales, La, James L. And Debbie B. Credeur of Opelousas, maternal grandfather Paul M. Guilbeaux of Port Barre, La, step grandfathers John Bernard of Prairie Ronde, La, Billy M. Mathews of Walker, step grandmothers Loretta Brown of Baton Rouge, La, niece and Godchild Abigail Marie Young of Prairie Ronde, nephew and Godchild Noah Scott Young of Prairie Ronde, nephew Austin Tyler Young of Prairie Ronde, stepbrother Dustin Mathews of Convent, La, sister Melissa C. Young and husband Christopher of Prairie Ronde, step sisters Monique Davide and Dodie D. Mire and husband Justin of Lafayette, La

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Shirley L. Guilbeaux, paternal grandparents John Credeur, Sr. and Marion G. Credeur step paternal grandmother, Barbara Bernard.

Visitation will be on Sunday January 23, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on Monday at 8:00 a.m. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday evening.
