Keith Robin

Funeral services will be held for Keith Wayne Robin, age 55, at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 27, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Opelousas, LA. Reverend Perry Hubbs, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Opelousas, will conduct the funeral service. Burial will take place at Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Robin, a native and resident of Opelousas, LA, died on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.

Keith proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard. He became a 5th generation plumber and opened his business, Keith's Plumbing, in 1985. His son Chad carries the business and his legacy as a 6th generation plumber.

Keith's hobbies involved cooking for his family and making sure that everyone else was taken care of. Over the years, he tirelessly organized and worked countless fundraisers, organized and served thousands of plate lunches, hotdogs, and hamburgers for numerous organizations.
Keith was a devoted member and Deacon at the First Baptist Church of Opelousas. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Darlene Hanks Robin; his mother, Marjorie Robin; his sons, Eric Robin and wife, Meegan; Chad Robin and wife, Amanda; Seth Robin; his brother, Johnny Robin and wife, Marice; his sister, Darlynn Robin Zeiters and Neil Guidroz and his four grandchildren, Landon Wayne Robin, Eli John Robin, Kylee Robin and Beau Robin.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Joseph Robin; his in-laws, Margaret and Lionel Babineaux and his uncle, Marshall D'Avy.

Pallbearers will be Eric Robin, Seth Robin, Chad Robin, Johnny Robin, Zachary Robin and Neal Guidroz.

Visitation will be held at the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. The Reverend Joshua Johnson will lead a Testament Service at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Monday until time of services.
