Keith Dohmann, Sr.

Grand Coteau A Mass of Christian Burial for Keith Joseph Dohmann, Sr. will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 8, 2013, in the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Grand Coteau, LA. Burial will follow in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church Mausoleum in Church Point, LA. Monsignor Jefferson DeBlanc will officiate the service.

Mr. Dohmann, age 55, a resident of Opelousas, LA died at 11:55 pm. on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at his residence.

Keith enjoyed watching the Saints, drag racing and Nascar. He was a talented musician who sang and played the drums and saxophone. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Leona Matt Dohmann, of Opelousas, LA his sons, Shannon Dohmann, Seth Dohmann, Keith Dohmann, II all of Opelousas, LA his brothers, Johnny Dohmann and wife, Tammy, of Mire, LA Glynn Dohmann and wife, Veleeda, of Houston, Texas Joseph Dohmann and wife, Ruth, of Opelousas, LA his sister, Dee Dee Lemaire and husband, Joe Pat, of Opelousas, LA his brotherinlaw, Gene R. Matt, of Dotham, Alabama his sisterinlaw, Gloria and her husband, Jim McGinn, of Church Point, LA his brotherinlaw, Kenneth Matt, of Opelousas, LA and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Alton and Irene Hebert Dohmann.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas beginning on Thursday, February 7, 2013 from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on Friday, February 8, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
