Katherine Prudhomme

Funeral services for Katherine Faye Prudhomme will be held on Tuesday May 27, 2014 at 11:00am at the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas. Rev. Vinson Tullos will conduct the services. The interment will take place at Bellevue Memorial Park.

Ms. Prudhomme, age 65, a resident of Opelousas, died on Saturday May 24, 2014 at her residence. She was a retired beautician, mother, grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was also a member of the Opelousas Bible Church.

She is survived by her mother Josephine Doucet Prudhomme of Opelousas, sons Kevin Prudhomme and wife Sheila of Arnaudville, Jared Prudhomme and wife Jamie of Arnaudville, brothers Donald W. Prudhomme of Prairie Ronde, Linn Prudhomme of Opelousas and Carl Prudhomme of Port Barre, brother in law Charles Chuck Guidry of Opelousas and six grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her father Abel Prudhomme, sister Mildred P. Guidry and a grandson Gabriel Prudhomme.

The family has requested visitation be held on Monday May 26, 2014 from 11:00am until 10:00pm and will reopen on Tuesday from 8:00am until time of services.
