Opelousas - A Memorial Service will be held for Karen Daigle Savoie, age 48, at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2015, in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Parlor in Opelousas. Reverend Greg Gaspard will officiate the service.

Mrs. Savoie, a resident of Opelousas, LA, died on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at her home.

Karen loved watching soap operas and watching her favorite game show, "The Price is Right". She enjoyed watching movies and had loved growing red roses.

She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Leonard Savoie of Opelousas, LA; her father, John A. Daigle of Lewisburg, LA; her son, John Gilven Savoie of Opelousas, LA; her daughter, Brittany Nicole Savoie of Peotone, Illinois; her brother, Keith Daigle of Opelousas, LA; her sisters, Stephine Daigle of Marksville, LA; Kristi Hammond of Opelousas, LA and her Godchild, Keith Daigle, Jr. of Port Barre, LA.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Foster Daigle and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Visitation will be held at the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Saturday, June 6, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
