Funeral services for Karen Lynn Pitre will be Monday March 5, 2007 at 1:00pm at the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Bro. Joe Russo will conduct the services. Burial will take place at Bellevue Memorial Park.

Karen Lynn Pitre, age 49 died Saturday March 3, 2007 at her residence at 12:30am. She was a Day Care worker.

Survivors include her mother; Patsy Pitre of Opelousas, son; Nicholas Jude Pitre of Opelousas, daughters; Ashley Nicole Pitre of Opelousas and Marisa Savoie of Lafayette, brothers; Craig Pitre and wife Donna of Grand Prairie, Carl Pitre of Hammond and Neal Pitre of Port Barre, sister; Melanie Bourque and husband Randy of Little Teche.

She was preceded in death by her father; Curtis Pitre, grandparents; Teurline and Georgia Dupre, Henry and Ivy Pitre.

A special thanks goes to her caregiver, Regina Boscon and the staff at Louisiana Hospice and Palliative Care.

Visitation will be Sunday March 4, 2007 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm and will reopen at 8:00am on Monday.
