Julie H. Guidry

Julie H. Guidry, age 69, a resident of Krotz Springs, LA passed away peacefully on Monday, December 9, 2019 at Opelousas General Health System.

Julie was an EMT for Fire District 1.  She enjoyed being outdoors fishing and tending to her roses and pecans.  She loved her dogs Catin, Bear, Tiny and Meerkat.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.  Julie will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Tim Guidry (Allison); her daughters, Rhonda G. Hoyt (Marty) and Kimberly Guidry; her sisters, Edna Willey, Cloteal Rutledge, Shirley Tolbert (Clifford) and Judie Lucas (Marvin).  She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Caelyn Kidder, Hunter Kidder, Madison Sharp, Chelsie Guidry, Koby Guidry, Korbin Guidry, Kristan Fontenot, Lindsey Bartram, Morgan Wheaton, Megan Chachere, Matthew Guidry and Chloe Guidry and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald J. Guidry; her parents, Lester and Mable Hardie; her son, Joseph "Joey" Guidry; her siblings, Wilburn "Woody" Hardie, Geraldin Hardie Dupuis, Jodie Hardie, R.L. "Son" Hardie, Lester "Butch" Hardie and her grandchildren, Colby and Corbin Guidry.
