Judy Andrepont

A funeral service will be held for Judy Ann Andrepont at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2017, in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Interment will be held at the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery. Deacon Tom Lindsey will conduct the service.

Ms. Andrepont, age 63, a resident of Opelousas, LA, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017.

Judy was an LPN for 30 years where she worked in the geriatric field. She was currently employed by Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ville Platte. She was a very kind, loving, generous and caring woman. She made sure to show everyone how to love unconditionally, how to forgive yourself and others and always to laugh plenty. Judy loved spending time with her family, enjoyed making holidays and events special by spreading her love and generosity to those who knew her. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her mother, Juanita Andrepont of Opelousas; her sons, Robert "Bubba" Soileau and wife, Mardana, of Sunset; Jason Soileau and wife, Cali, of Gwynn Oak, Maryland; her daughters, Tammy Houser and husband, Randy of Opelousas; Mandi Young and husband, Richard of Opelousas; her brothers, Dean Andrepont and wife, Hedy of Scott; James Scott Andrepont and wife, Becky of Opelousas; her sisters, Jackie Thibodeaux and husband, Tony of Opelousas and Janet Miller and husband, Terry of Opelousas. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, Dylan Richard, Carmen Soileau, Alexis Tejeda, Travis Houser, David Houser, Dylan Houser, Benjamin Soileau, Isaac Soileau and one great-grandson, Owen Houser. She also leaves behind her beloved pets, Deano and Sophie.

She was preceded in death by father, Benny Andrepont and her grandchildren, Sarah Young and Alex Young.

Visitation will be held at the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. by her son-in-law, Randy Houser and Reflection Service at 7:45 p.m. prayed by Reverend Chad Bolfa. The funeral home will reopen on Thursday, August 24, 2017, at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.

Pallbearers will be Bubba Soileau, Jason Soileau, Richard Young, Dylan Richard, Randy Houser, Scott Andrepont, Dean Andrepont, and Poncho Soileau.
