Judith Hynson

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady Queen of Angels Church in Opelousas, Louisiana, May 19, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. for Judith Dale Hynson. The Most Reverend Michael Jarrell, Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Lafayette will be the Celebrant of the funeral Mass and the funeral services. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park.

Ms. Hynson, age 74, was a native of Opelousas and a resident of Pineville, Louisiana. Judy passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her two sisters, Lillian Hynson Burch and her husband, Maurice "Buddy", of Slidell, Louisiana; and Leslie Hynson Lagasse and her husband, Hans, of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is also survived by her loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Allen Hynson and Lillian Barnett Hynson.

Visitation will be held at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Friday, May 19, at 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Family and Friends are invited to view and sign the online guestbook.
