Juanita Cain

Opelousas Funeral services for Juanita Briley Cain will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 19, 2014, in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Sammy Diesi will conduct the service. Burial will be held at Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Cain, age 90, died on Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at Opelousas General Health System.

Juanita enjoyed crocheting and making ceramics. She loved being with her children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, James M. Cain, of Opelousas, LA her daughters, Cheryl Cain Guidroz of Beaumont, TX Janet Cain Fitzgerald and husband, David, of Franklin, LA and Carol Cain Zerangue and husband, Howard Zerangue, Jr., of Opelousas, LA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Olive Durio Briley her brother, Vernon Briley her sister, Ruth Briley Deville and her granddaughter, Christy Dawn Zerangue.

Visitation will be held at the LaFondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Sunday, October 19, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. A Rosary will be prayed on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Howard Zerangue, Jr., Mark Zerangue, David Fitzgerald, Johnny Schwegmann, Mike Taylor and Ted Broussard.
