Joyce Soileau

Funeral services for Joyce L. Soileau will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 13, 2013, in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend James Brady conducting the service. Burial will follow in the St. Catherine Cemetery in Rosa, LA.
Mrs. Soileau, age 78, a resident of Dupont, LA died on Thursday, January 10, 2013, at the Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville, LA.
Mrs. Soileau was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her family and the time spent with them. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Allen Soileau, of Dupont, LA her sons, Mark Soileau and wife, Donna, of Thibodaux, LA Charles Soileau of Belle Chase, LA her daughter, Elizabeth Leger of Houston, Texas and her brother, Joseph Landry of Covington, LA. She is also survived by four grandsons, Elliott Leger, Lloyd Paul Boudreaux, Justin Soileau and Nicholas Mallet.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Clara Demary Landry and her two sons, Albert James Mallet and John Walter Soileau.
Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. A Rosary will be prayed on Sunday morning.
