Joseph Theriot

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mr. Joseph B. Theriot, Jr. (J.B.) age 70, on Tuesday, August 3, 2021. J.B. enjoyed his career working for ICEE, Taylor, St Landry School Board, and family owned business, Theriot’s Electrical. J.B. loved gardening and helping anyone that needed ac or refrigeration work done. He was a faithful member of St. John Berchmans Church. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Mr. Theriot is survived by his brothers, Joseph Donald Theriot and wife, Connie of Carencro, La. John Ricky Theriot of Sunset, La., and his sister, Debbie Prejean and husband, Fred of Sunset, La.; nieces and nephews, Tiffany Gayle of Lafayette, Scotty Theriot of Opelousas, Trista Wilson of Opelousas, Trent Prejean of Sunset,  and numerous other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph B. Theriot, Sr. and Ida Theriot; and his nephew, Jamie Theriot.
