Joseph Lanclos, Sr.

A memorial service for Joseph Raymond Blackie Lanclos, Sr. will be held on Thursday July 11, 2013 at 7:00pm at the LafondArdoin Funeral Home in Opelousas. Rev. Joe Baker will conduct the services.

Mr. Lanclos, age 67, a resident of Opelousas, died on Wednesday July 3, 2013 at Opelousas General Health System. He was retired from Schlumberger after 25 years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge.

He is survived by his wife Rebecca Becky Lanclos of Opelousas, sons Dion B. Lanclos, Joseph Joey R. Lanclos, Jr., Ashton C. Lanclos and Chad Soileau, daughters Angela L. Feeser, Carol Lynn Shipman and Carla F. Marks and 15 grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents, and brothers George and Francis Lanclos.

The family has requested visitation be held on Thursday July 11, 2013 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made.
