Joseph Hebert

Graveside services for Mr. Joseph Carlos Hebert will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017, at 12:00 noon at Bellevue Memorial Park. Mr. Levi Jones will conduct the service.

Mr. Hebert, age 57, a resident of Opelousas, died on Monday, April 24, 2017, in Opelousas at his home.

Joseph loved animals of all kind. He enjoyed reading about safaris and watching hunting shows and LSU football on television. Joseph was a proud LSU graduate. There he received a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology. He was also member of the American Society for Clinical Pathology.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Brenda Grimes Hebert of Opelousas; his daughter, Brendaly Hebert of Opelousas; nieces and nephews, Dana Klimavicz and husband, Jeremy of Baton Rouge, LA; Christopher Jeffers of Baton Rouge, LA; Scotty Quebedeaux of Colorado and Marcia Lavergne and husband, Michael of Columbus, GA. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, Elvis Grimes (Elaine) of Millry, AL; Jonathan Grimes (Connie) of Waynesboro, MS; his Uncles and Aunt in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephew and cousins-in-law from Alabama and Mississippi.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Eugene Hebert and Theresa Margie Reed Hebert; his sisters, Theresa Eugenie Quebedeaux, Jonie Marie Hebert; his paternal grandparents, Louis Jr. and Armance Hebert and his maternal grandparents, Nathan and Elina Reed.

Pallbearers will be Teddy Stelly, Michael Pefferkorn, Jonathan Grimes, Elvis Grimes, Jeremy Klimavicz and Mike Fontenot.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
