Opelousas A service will be held for Joseph Lynn Faul, age 86, at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2012, in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas, La. Burial to follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas, La. with Reverend Paul Bienvenu officiating.

Joseph, a resident of Opelousas, La., died on Monday, July 30, 2012, at the AcadiaSt. Landry Guesthouse in Church Point, La.

Mr. Faul loved being with his family and enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his son, Jason Joseph Faul of Roanoke, La. and his sister, Bertha Faul Mills of Pasadena, Texas. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Benjamin, Sara, Nicholas, Victoria and Dylan Faul and 3 greatgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth D. Faul his sons, Lynn Joseph Faul and Frank Wayne Faul his parents, Joseph and Lena Faul his brother, Maurice Faul and his sister, Mabel F. Hollier.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas, beginning on Wednesday, August 1, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and will reopen on Thursday, August 2, 2012, at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
