Joseph Dohmann

Funeral services will be Wednesday January 24, 2007 at 3:30pm in the St. John Chapel in Lewisburg. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Fr. Blair Sabaricos will conduct the services.

Mr. Dohmann, age 86, a resident of Lewisburg died Monday January 22, 2007 at 4:25pm in Lafayette General Medical Center. He was a retired farmer and sweet potato shipper.

He is survived by his wife; Stella Harmon Dohmann of Lewisburg, sons; Joseph Jerry Dohmann, Jr. and his wife Hilda of St. Martinville, Kurth Dohmann and his wife Shirley H. Dohmann of Charlotte, NC., Leland Dohmann and his wife Shirley J. Dohmann of Lewisburg, daughter; Marlena Fontenot and her husband Winston of Chataignier, sister; Celeste Franchebois of Lafayette, 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents; John and Marie Dohmann, brother; Alton Dohmann, son; Norman Dohmann, grandson; Dwaine Dohmann and a great grandson; John Dohmann, III.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:30am until time of services.

A rosary will be recited at Wednesday at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the St. John Chapel in Lewisburg.
