JOSEPH L. BABINEAUX

Funeral services for Mr. Joseph L. Babineaux will be held on Sunday, November 26th, 2006 at 1:00 PM at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home chapel, with interment at Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas. Msgr Louis Melancon will conduct the services.

Mr. Babineaux, 81, died Friday, November 24th, 2006 at Opelousas General Health System.

He is survived by his wife; Margaret Courtney Babineaux of Opelousas, 2 step-daughters; Glenda Gary and her husband Richard of Opelousas and Darlene Robin and her husband Keith also of Opelousas. His sisters; Mrs. Annie Comeaux of Cankton, La., Mrs. Allie Dhuet of Houma, Mrs. Lee Parr of Houma, Mrs. Angie Cavalier of Lafayette, Mrs. Audrey George of Houma, Mrs. Maudrey Bergeron of Houm., Mrs. Mildred Richard of Cankton, and Mrs. Sybil Cortez also of Cankton. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by Linic Babineaux, Early Babineaux, Ivy Babineaux, Harry Babineaux, Lloyd Babineaux, Evela Savoy, Louella Babineaux and Arthur Ray Babineaux, and his parents Arthur and Adele Babineaux.

The family has requested that visitation be observed on Saturday, November 25th, 2006 from 3:00PM to 10:00PM and will continue on Sunday morning from 8:00AM to time of service. A Rosary will be recited on Saturday at 6:40PM.
