Funeral services for Johnny Webster Savant will be held on Tuesday November 26, 2013 at 10:30am at LafondArdoin Funeral Home in Melville. Bro. Sam Hamm will conduct the services.
Mr. Savant, age 76, a resident of Melville, died Wednesday November 20, 2013 at his residence in Melville. He was a retired construction worker.
He is survived by his wife Geneva Savant of Melville, sons David Savant of Livonia, Anthony Barker of Melville, daughter Tammy Jean Barker of Melville, brothers Jessie Savant, Daniel Savant, John A. Bay Bay Savant, Ray Peanut Savant, Billie Savant, Tubby Savant, Larry Savant and Raymond Savant and Darell, sisters Betty Jane Gautro, Evelyn Savant, Ann Savant, Aline Savant and Wanda Ann Savant, grandchildren Yancey Michael Savant, Andrew Norman Varnado, Hunter Webster Varnado, Kelly Beard, Jarod Beard, Ashley Beard, Tiffany Savant and Mark Savant and 3 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Daniel Webster and Hazel Dauzat Webster, son Mark Barker, daughter Carrie Cheri Savant, sister Bonnie King Gautro, brothers Wango Savant and Rusty Savant.
The family has requested visitation be held on Monday November 25, 2013 from 4:00pm until 9:00pm at the LafondArdoin Funeral Home in Melville and will reopen on Tuesday at 8:00am until time of services.
