It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of John Malcolm Melancon, age 71, on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Malcolm loved being outdoors, fishing, gardening and taking care of his cattle. His favorite thing to do was to cook and feed any visitors. He enjoyed being around his family and made nicknames for everyone. Malcolm was a wonderful grandfather and loved spoiling his grandkids and making "Tik Toc" videos with them. He was a faithful milkman for 37 years and retired as a manager of retail sales. Mac had a great sense of humor and got a chuckle from teasing his family and friends. Malcolm was a loving husband, father, pappy, great-grandfather and brother. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
