John Holloway, Sr.

Funeral services for John Marshall Holloway, Sr. will be Sunday March 25, 2007 at 2:00pm in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will take place at Bellevue Memorial Park. Bro. Perry Hubbs will conduct the services.

Mr. Holloway, age 82, a resident of Opelousas, died at his residence, Friday, March 23, 2007. He retired from Schlumberger, was a member and a Deacon of the First Baptist Church in Opelousas. Mr. Holloway was in the Army Aircore, 9th Air Force
ision in WWII, during D.Day.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy Huckaby Holloway of Opelousas, his son; Johnny Holloway of Brownsville Texas and his daughter Cindy Holloway Washington of Lake Charles La. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 Great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son; Paul Holloway, his parents; August and Estelle H. Cummings Holloway and a sister; Hazel Cain.

The family has requested that donations may be made to Dry Creek Baptist Camp, P.O. Box 445, Dry Creek, La. 70637

Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00pm until 9:00pm and Sunday from 9:00am until time of services.
