John Cary, Jr.

Opelousas A Funeral Service for John Carl Cary, Jr. will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 27, 2013, in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas, LA. Deacon Sammy Diesi will officiate the service.

Carl, age 29, a resident of Washington, LA died on Wednesdat, January 23, 2013.

Carl received an Associates Degree from Brown University in computer graphic design and worked for Omni Services. He enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing and will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his father, Johnny C. Cary, Sr. and wife, Peggy Wartelle Cary, of Washington, LA his mother, Paula Dardeau Fontenot of Opelousas, LA his maternal grandparents, Larry and Barbara Latiolais of Opelousas, LA his brother, Dillan Fontenot of Opelousas, LA his aunts and uncles, Phyllis Cary Hebert and husband Farrel of Baton Rouge, LA Neil Cary and wife Sharon Vidrine Cary of Covington, LA Marilyn Cary Starks and husband Perry of Baton Rouge, LA Mike Dardeau of Opelousas, LA and Angie Latiolais Menard of Opelousas, LA he also leaves behind many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Joseph Curley J.C. Cary and Anna Lois Labbe Cary.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas beginning on Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Ross Starks, Austin Starks, Cary Hebert, Neil Cary, Farrel Hebert, John Malinski and Perry Starks.
