JoAnn L. Reviere

Johanna "JoAnn" L. Reviere, age 88, a resident of Lawtell, La., passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024. She was born on June 6, 1936, in Arnaudville Louisiana.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. 

A Rosary will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home immediately followed by funeral services, with the Reverend Father Mark Ledoux officiating. The family has requested a private inurnment. 

Throughout her life, JoAnn touched the hearts of many with her kind and gentle spirit. She will be remembered for her love of music, her excellent cooking skills, and her joy in watching the birds while relaxing in her swing outdoors. She spent time picking pecans and in her younger days she enjoyed tending to her yard.

JoAnn's memory will forever be cherished by her surviving family members: her daughters, Diane Tweedel (Leon) and Virginia Reviere; her brother, Jeffery LeBlanc (Ruth); her sisters, Jeanette Richard (Horace), Mary Falgout (Larry), and Linda Matherne; her grandchildren, Thomas, Amy, Desiree, Kimberly, Dexter, Christie, Danielle, Donna, Brent, Randall, Miranda, and Dustin; as well as great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, her caregiver, Arleen “Snoopy” Reviere and other dear family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donadieu (Donner) and Arsene (Mary) Stelly LeBlanc; her husband, Nolton Reviere; her son, Ray Reviere; her daughters, Debra Reviere and Cynthia Courville and her brother, Don LeBlanc.

Her legacy of love and warmth will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and adored her.
