Jesse Patin

Leonville A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Jesse James Patin at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville, La. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Leo Church Mausoleum with Reverend Ken Domingue as the celebrant.

Mr. Patin, age 52, a resident of Leonville, La., died on Sunday, September 9, 2012, at Opelousas General Health System.

Jesse worked for Smith Tank and Steel as a shop supervisor. He enjoyed keeping fit by working out, bike riding and hunting. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Jackie Patin, of Leonville, La. his son, Jake Patin and wife, Leslie, of Walker, La. his daughter, Jessie Theriot and husband, Kyle, of Leonville, La. his brother, Henry Patin of Parks, La. and his sister, Kathy Montet of Delcambre, La. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Ellie Patin, Reese Patin and Parker Theriot.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jade Patin and his parents, Harold and Genevieve Montet Patin.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas, beginning on Monday, September 10, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday until service time. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
