A Mass of Christian Burial for Jennifer Lacassin Mason will be held on Tuesday December 23, 2014 at12 Noon in the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Krotz Springs. Rite of committal will take place at the St. Anthony Cemetery. The Reverend Chanh Van Nguyen will celebrate the Mass.

Mrs. Mason, age 41, a resident of Krotz Springs, died on Saturday December 20, 2014 at Opelousas General Health System. She was born on August 16, 1973. She enjoyed reading, drinking coffee with friends and family and the outdoors and loving her babies and counseling. Jennifer will forever be remembered as being a provider, protector and wonderful caregiver for over 20 years. She was a hard worker, generous, loyal, and devoted to Quality Care Providers of Louisiana for 7 years. She was the true lifeofparty with her jokes. But above all she was a loving and nurturing mother to her children and husband, which to her was her greatest achievement.

She is survived by her husband Tony Poohboy Mason, parents Gerard and Mary Ann Lacassin, maternal grandmother Loretta Cole Kaiser, sons Mitchelle Scott Martin and Ayden Christopher Mason, daughters Kyra Michelle Lacassin, Kimberly Dawn Landry and husband Michael Landry, Jr. Meghan Nicole Mason, LaKen Green, brothers Gerard Lacassin, II, Jacob Lacassin, sisters Geralyn Rozas and husband Ryan, Janel Simien and husband Brett, Jessica Kelly and husband Andrew, brother in law and sister in law Oscar Mason and Terry Mason, Connie Mason, one grandson Brody Landry, God mother Laura Lou Kaiser, God father David Lacassin, nieces and nephews Brannon Rozas, Chelsea Rozas, Brock Rozas, Bryce Rozas, Lukas Deculus, Austin Deculus, Bret Simien, Malae Simien, Joshua Simien, Caleb Simien, Leighton Lacassin, Emily Lacassin, Reese Lacassin, Jacob Lacassin, Isaac Kelly and Morgan Kelly, Lori and Ivory Disotell, Krislynn and Lorin Disotell, Trey and Christine Mason, Austin and Blayde Martinez, Dana and Gaige Ellis, Hunter Vidrine, Georgie Disotell, Kimberly, Kelsey, Kenny, Kerry and Khristian Disotell.

Preceding her in death was her sister Michelle Lacassin, niece Maryanna Asinette Lacassin father and mother in law Sandra and Floyd Mason, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Louis Lacassin and Claude Kaiser.

Pallbearers will be Brannon Hargroder, Gerard Lacassin, Lukas Deculus, Jacob Lacassin, Brock Rozas and Austin Deculus.

The family has requested visitation be held on Monday December 22, 2014 starting at 4:00 pm and will remain open all night. A rosary will be prayed on Monday evening at 6:30pm.
