Jeffery Nall

Krotz Springs - Funeral services for Jeffery Clay "Jeff" Nall have been scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Krotz Springs. Pastor Chad Bolfa will conduct the funeral service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visiting will be held at the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs beginning on Monday, October 19, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.

Jeff Nall, age 58, who was a lifelong resident of Krotz Springs, LA, died on Sunday, October 18, 2015 as a result of an automobile accident.

Jeff, affectionately known as "Poppa" to his grandchildren, cherished the time that he spent with the family. Jeff always opened his home to help others and was seen by so many as a father figure who worked hard and made a point of doing whatever he could to help his children. He was also passionate out playing his guitar and sharing his gift of music with others. Jeff enjoyed being at his camp and spending time in the woods. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his loving wife April Barker Nall of Krotz Springs, LA; sons Chad Nall and wife Bridget; step sons Drake and Brant Peck, all of Krotz Springs, LA; daughters, Krystal Nall Ortego and husband Jay, Kathryn Nall Vidrine and husband Travis; step-daughter, Cami Peck, all of Krotz Springs, LA; brothers, Ted Nall of Lake Charles, LA, James "Buddy" Nall and Casey Jay Nall, both from Texas and Steven Nall and wife Nyckie of Florida; sisters Tracey Johnfroe and husband Ken and Carmen Nall all of Texas; his aunt, Juanita Reed of Krotz Springs, LA; 9 grandchildren, Colt Nall, Owen Vidrine, Jadeyn Nall, Harlie Nall, Mallory Ortego, Jayce Ortego, Dawson Vidrine, Anthony Ortego, and Luke Vidrine.

He is preceded in death by his father, Creighton James Nall; mother Vera Lee "Tootsie" Jarreau and husband Roland Jarreau; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. O.G. Williamson; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Rassie Nall; sisters, Nona Ponthieux, Madeline Evans, and Eileen Plaisance.

Pallbearers will be Travis Vidrine, Jay Ortego, Gordy Reed, Colt Nall, Owen Vidrine and Drake Peck. Honorary pallbearers will be Mikey Ponthieux, Tim Reed, Cody Reed, Luke Vidrine, Anthony Ortego, Clint Lacassin, Jayce Ortego, Dawson Vidrine, Chad Nall and Ted Nall.
