Jeannette Jones Vidrine

Funeral services for Mrs. Harris Vidrine the former Jeannette Jones will be held on Monday, July 10, 2006 3:00 pm at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Washington with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Washington. Rev. Albert Nunez will officiate.

Mrs.Vidrine, a native of Grand Prairie and resident of Opelousas, 86, died Saturday, July 8, 2006 at 10:00AM in Lafayette. Mrs. Vidrine is survived by one son Mr. John Ted Vidrine and wife Sherron of Folsom, four daughters Mrs. Cheryl Soileau and husband Larry of Lafayette, Mrs. Rebecca Guidry and husband Gilbert of Carencro, Mrs. Neva Marie Olivier and husband Kearney of Lafayette, and Mrs. Patricia Sandoz and husband Doug of Opelousas. Jeannette is also survived by one brother Austin Jones, Jr. of Sulpher and two sisters Mrs. Walter Dee Stelly Sr. of Grand Prairie and Mrs. Octavia Richard of Opelousas. Mrs. Vidrine is also survived by one sister in law Mrs. Carrie Soileau of Opelousas. Six Grand children and three great grand children also survive Mrs. Vidrine.

Jeannette was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Harris Vidrine, her father Austin Stear Jones Sr., her mother Armose Truillier Jones, one sister Mrs. Mabris Ortego, a brother Stafford Jones Sr., and a Granddaughter Michelle A. Guidry.

Visitation will be observed on Sunday, July 9, from 11:00AM to 9:00PM and will continue on Monday, July 10, from 8:00AM to time of service. A rosary will be recited on Sunday at 7:00 pm .
