Janice Roberts

Krotz Springs A Mass of Christian Burial for Janice Burns Roberts, age 66, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 26, 2010 in the St. Anthony Catholic Church. The Reverend Mark Ledoux will be the celebrant. Ms. Roberts chose to be cremated therefore a private interment will be held at a later date.

A native of Donaldsonville, LA and a former resident of New Orleans, LA, Ms. Roberts died in Baton Rouge on Wednesday, April 21, 2010.

Janice loved Zydeco music and would travel far and wide to enjoy the music and dance.

She is survived by three sons, Merrick Roberts and wife Susanne of Simmesport, LA, Chris Roberts of Dallas, TX and Scott Roberts and wife Kim of Pineville, LA three grandchildren, Megan, Jordan and Gage Roberts six brothers, Hugh Burns of Eugene, OR, Dunning Burns of Escondido, CA, Kent Burns of St. George, SC, Jimmy James Burns, and William Billy Burns of New Orleans four sisters, Eleanor Perkins of Baton Rouge, LA, Ruth Reed of Krotz Springs, LA, Mimi Sil1iau of Portland, OR and Mary Ann Burns of Isla Mujeres, Mexico.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Ruth Burns and a granddaughter, Jade Roberts.

Visiting will be held in the LaFondArdoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs on Monday, April 26, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
