Janet Simien

Opelousas A funeral service for the former Janet Chautin, age 45, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, in the LaFondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas. Interment will be in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Simien died at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 9, 2010 in Lawtell, LA.

She was a devoted wife and daughter and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Larry Simien mother, Marie Leger Chautin of Lawtell sister, Carolyn Thibodeaux of Lawtell sistersinlaw, Betty Rideaux and husband Willis of Lake Charles, Barbara Simien of Eunice and Mary Alajan of Church Point brotherinlaw, Deton and wife Dorrela Simien of Opelousas.

Preceded in death by her father, John Edward Chautin two brothers, Randy and John Shane Chautin sister, Donna Hidalgo grandparents, Darius and Lucille Leger and Edward and Ament Chautin and an uncle, James Chautin.

LaFondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas will be in charge of the arrangements.
