Jane Ducote Satterley

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jane Clessie Ducote Satterley, age 74, on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.

Jane retired as a paralegal, which she did for over twenty years. Everyone loved her excellent cooking, especially her gumbo which she made every Christmas. Jane had the kindest heart and was always helping others. One of her favorite pastimes was crocheting and spoiling her furbabies. However, more than anything, she loved spending time with her family and being their biggest cheerleader. She was the glue that held the family together and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her daughters, Billie Satterley and Laurene Lindsey; brothers, Conrad Ducote and Vernon Ducote, Jr.; sister, Margie Schnexnayder; grandchildren, Clint Satterley and Matt Lindsey; great-grandchild, Vincent Rex Satterley; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon Ducote, Sr. and Bernice Brame Ducote; and her husband, Donald Ray Satterley.
