Jamie Splane

Washington A Mass of Christian Burial for Ogden James Splane, age 39, will be held on Friday, April 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Washington, followed by interment in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Washington, La. Reverend Albert Nunez will conduct the services.

Mr. Splane, a resident of Washington, died at his residence on Sunday, April 4, 2010.

Jamie enjoyed outdoor activities which included golfing, fishing, hunting and 4wheeler riding.

Survivors include his wife, Michelle Darby Splane, of Washington, La. his sisters, Ellen Kay Splane Kenny of Las Vegas, Nevada Scarlett Splane of Kentwood, La. his brother, Colton Flavius Splane of Kentwood, La. his aunts and uncles, Sharon Splane Gautreaux and husband, Wayne Wallace Splane and wife, Paula Wyatt Splane and wife, Stephanie Lastrapes Dude Wartelle and wife, Julie, all of Washington, La. his niece, Alexandra Kenny and his nephew, Myles Kenny, both of Las Vegas, Nevada.

He is preceded in death by his father, Nickie Splane mother, Karen Splane Rodriguez and his paternal grandmother, Addie Nickleson Splane Wartelle.

Visitation will be held in the LaFond Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas beginning on Thursday, April 8, 2010 from 5:00 10:00 p.m. A rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
