James Vatter

OpelousasService for James W. Vatter, age 54, will be held on Monday, April 27, 2009, at

11:00 a.m. in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel, followed by interment in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas, Louisiana. Reverend Steve Horn will conduct the services.

Mr. Vatter, a resident of Lafayette, La., died on Friday, April 24, 2009 at 4:55 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.

James hobby was amateur photography. He loved photographing flowers and birds.

He is survived by his aunts, Faye Johnson and her husband, Richard, and Joy Cope and her husband, Gene, all of Lafayette, La. He is also survived by his three nephews and one niece.

Mr. Vatter was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Dorothy Vatter.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Monday, April 27, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.

Pallbearers will be: Gene Cope, Richard Johnson, Ryan Johnson, Richey Johnson, Eric Bridges and Mike Cope.
