James Robert Jim Marks

Funeral service will be held at Our Lady Of Mercy Catholic Church at 1 PM Saturday July 7, 2007 for James Robert Jim Marks age 25. James Robert Jim Marks died at his resident in Lafayette, La. at 10:05 PM July 5, 2007.

Fr. Jeff DeBlanc and Fr Bill Rogalla will officiated the funeral service.

Burial will be in the Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas, La.

His fianc Ellen Cooper of Lafayette, La., his parents Robert and Carolyn Marks of Opelousas, La., one sister Lydia Marks of Lafayette, La., and his grandfather Camilla Marks of Arnaudville, La. survive James Robert Jim Marks.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Bertha Marks and maternal grandparents L.J. and Dessie Bergeaux.

Jim was a member SAE Fraternity, Duck Unlimited, Avis Outdoorsman and 2000 Graduate of Opelousas Catholic High. Jim also loves his music and Safety Coordinators for Acadian Ambulance.

Pallbearers will be Scott Archer, Ray Brownlee, Greg Jones, Ross Willis, Trey Hollingsworth, and Malcolm Bearb.

Visitation was at 5 PM until 10PM July 6, 2007 with a 7 PM rosary. Reopen Saturday at 8 AM. July 7, 2007 until time of service.
