James Guillory, Jr.

Krotz Springs Funeral services for James Little Ricky Ricky Guillory, Jr. will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2013, in the First Baptist Church in Krotz Springs, LA. Burial will follow in the First Baptist Church Cemetery. Brother Chad Bolfa will conduct the service.

Ricky, age 21, died on Monday, November 4, 2013, in Krotz Springs.

Ricky was a member of the National Guard Youth Challenge Program YCP in Carville, LA. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.

Survivors are his mother and stepfather, Shawn Young and Nathaniel Carry, of Krotz Springs, LA his father and stepmother, James Ricky Guillory and Lana Guillory, of Call, Texas his grandmother, Merrie Jagneaux and husband, Horace, of Opelousas, LA his greatgrandmother, Mary Dupont, of Krotz Springs, LA his sisters, Yvonne Artigue and husband, James Artigue, Jr., of Port Barre, LA Lisa Alexander and husband, Herman Alexander, of Port Barre, LA and his stepbrother, Michael Sonnier, of Call, Texas. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jack and Louella Guillory his grandfather, Phillip Guidroz his greatgrandparents, Wilbert Dupont, Joyce Bolten and Mr. and Mrs. Preston Scruggins.

Visiting will begin at the LaFondArdoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. open all night until service time at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Pallbearers will be, Nathaniel Carry, Scott Pitre, Phillip Guidroz, Jr., Danny Ortego, Jacob Hooks, Brandon Pippins, Darren Burroughs and Michael Sonnier.
