Opelousas - Funeral Services will be held for James Tracy Foret, II, age 38, at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 17, 2016, in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas, LA. Reverend Blaine Clement will celebrate the Mass. Burial will take place at a later date.

James, a resident of Opelousas, LA, died on Thursday, July 14, 2016 in Opelousas.

James was a loving son, brother and uncle. He loved the theater, was a "Jack of All Trades" and loved all animals. He especially loved his cat, "Ouiser", who he named after one of the characters from the movie "Steel Magnolias". He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his parents, Tracy and Phyllis Costanza Foret, of Grand Prairie, LA; his brother, Eric Foret and wife, Christy, of Grand Prairie, LA; his sister, Emily Miguez and husband, Leslie, of Grand Prairie, LA; his nieces, his goddaughter, Amelia Miguez, Paige Foret, Peyton Foret, Palee Foret; his nephews, Les Miguez, Ian Miguez, Tyler Dean and his maternal grandparents, Janva and Paul Costanza.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Allen and Annabelle Foret.

Visitation will be held at the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday until time of services.

Pallbearers will be Eric Foret, Leslie Miguez, Les Miguez, Ian Miguez, Tyler Dean and Brock Doucet.
