James Foret

Funeral services for James Larry Foret were held on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 1:00pm at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church with the interment in Bellevue Memorial Park. The Rev. Angelo Cremaldi will conduct the services.

Mr. Foret, age 54 a resident of Opelousas died Thursday September 13, 2007 at 8:35pm at Opelousas General Health Systems following a brief battle with cancer. He was retired from Halliburton.

Mr. Foret is survived by his mother; Beverly Briley Foret of Opelousas, his wife; Carmen Durio Foret of Opelousas, his son; Nick James Foret of Sunset and mother of Nick; Cynthia Foret of Opelousas.

He was preceded in death by his father; Rene Foret.

The pallbearers will be Abby Andrus, Timmy Bernard, Robert Hidalgo, Henry LeBas, Danny Lafleur and Lynn Foret. Honorary pallbearers were Shane Guillaumin and Fox Castille.

Visitation was observed on Friday from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and was observed Saturday from 8:00am until time of service. A Rosary was recited on Friday at 6:00pm.

Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas was in charge of the arrangements.
