James Faul

Funeral services for James Octave Faul will be held on Tuesday August 5, 2014 at 3:00pm at the LafondArdoin Funeral Home in Opelousas, La. The interment will take place at the Belleau Cemetery in Swords, La.

Mr. Faul, age 82, a resident of Lawtell, died on Saturday August 2, 2014, at Opelousas General Health System. He was an Appeals Referee at LAWorks, the employment office for the state of Louisiana.

He is survived by his son, Gregory Faul of Lawtell daughter, Deborah Bundick and husband Robert Lee of Swords brother, Joseph E. Faul and wife Mae of Lafayette and 4 grandchildren: Christopher M. Fontenot of Maurice, Bryan L. Fontenot and wife Cristina of Baton Rouge, Emily T. Fontenot of Lawtell, and Mia M. Fontenot of Houston.

Preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Darbonne Faul parents, Gustave Faul, Sr. and Mattie Comeaux Faul brothers, Gustave Faul, Jr. and Robert Lee Faul sister, Zita Faul halfbrother, Leo Smith and halfsisters, Emmelina Pitre and Octavie Daigle.

The family has requested visitation be held on Tuesday August 5, 2014 9:00am until time of services at 3:00pm, with a rosary led by nieces Vicky Baccus, Tammy Bihm, and Lisa Breaux at 11:00am.

Pallbearers will be his brother, Joseph Faul grandsons, Christopher Fontenot and Bryan Fontenot nephews, Dr. Robbie Faul and Stanley Darbonne and Don Reviere. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Burch, Kenneth Olivier, and Joey Bihm.
