James Boone

Funeral services for Mr. James Jim Boone, will be held today, Tuesday, October 31st, 2006 at 11AM at Prairie Ronde Baptist Church with interment at the Church cemetery. Rev. David Flutz will conduct the services. Graveside service will be conducted by the Harmony 410 Masonic Lodge.

Mr. Boone, 58, died Sunday, October 29th, 2006 at the Community Medical Center in Eunice. He was a retired police officer and a member of the Harmony 410 Masonic Lodge in Eunice.

He is survived by a son; Edgar Boone of Mamou, a brother; Adrian Boone of Eunice and 6 sisters; Eva Boone, Ella Bertrand, Victoria Pitre, Mary Boone and Velma Boone all of Lawtell and Virginia Bertrand of Opelousas.

He was preceded in death by his parents Henry Boone Sr and Amy Marie Lejeune Boone, 2 brothers Henry and L.G. Boone and 2 sisters; Ruby Granger and Wilma Soileau.

Visitation was Monday from 4PM till 10PM and will continue today from 8AM till time of service.
