Krotz Springs - Funeral services for Irene Kimble, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2015 in the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs, LA. Brother Chad Bolfa will conduct the services. Interment will be held at The First Baptist Church Cemetery in Melville, LA.

Mrs. Kimble, age 72, died on Monday, January 26, 2015 at her residence in Krotz Springs, LA, surrounded by her loving and caring family.

Mrs. Kimble enjoyed watching her old time TV shows and movies whenever she could. She also had a great love for her job, in which she was a sitter for the elderly.

She is survived by her son, Troy Kimble and wife Tisha of Krotz Springs, LA; brother, Wayne Brown of Florida; her three grandchildren, Whittney Trahan, Skylar Kimble, and Cameron Kimble; her great-grandchild, Gracie Trahan; and her best friend Mrs. Nola Voila.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Sanders Brown and Rowena Bella Hunter; and her husband Willie Kimble.

The family has requested visitation be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
