Irene Guillory Comeaux

Opelousas - Funeral services for Irene Guillory Comeaux, will take place on Friday, August 18, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Skip Montet Memorial Chapel at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Opelousas, La.  Irene’s son-in-law, Guy Bozeman, will conduct the service.   The burial will be held at Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas, LA.

Visitation will be held in the Skip Montet Memorial Chapel on Friday, August 18, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. 

Irene passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. 

Irene’s memory will forever be cherished by her surviving family members: her daughters, Judy Beard and JoAnn Bozeman and her husband, Guy.  She is also survived by six grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.  

Irene leaves behind a lasting legacy of love and affection. She was preceded in death by her parents, Moise Guillory and Aline Johnson Guillory; her husband of 67 years, Marks Comeaux; her infant daughter, Jean Comeaux; her sister, Verlie LaFleur and her brother, Douglas Guillory.

Her unconditional love and unwavering support will continue to guide them through life's journey.
