IOLA HOOKS DOIRON

Funeral services for Mrs. Iola Hooks Doiron will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at 10:00AM at the First Baptist Church in Krotz Springs. Interment will be through the Krotz Springs Methodist Church. The Rev. Chad Balfa, Rev. Rocky Warden and the Rev. David Doiron will officiate at the services.

Mrs. Doiron, 89, died Monday, January 28th, 2007 at Opelousas General Health System. She was a member of the Krotz Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Willis Doiron Sr of Krotz Springs her sons; Willis Will Doiron Jr and his wife Nancy of Cambria CA., Charlie P. Doiron and his wife Dorothy of Port Allen LA and Rev. David W. Doiron and his wife Patricia of Folson, La., her brother; Junior Hooks and his wife Nootsie of Krotz Springs and a sister; Ruth Hooks Cabral and her husband M. Hill also of Krotz Springs. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 Great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her her parents; Charlie and Ida Reed Hooks, brothers; Ira Hooks, Willie Hooks and John Hooks and sisters; Mamie Hooks and Leslie Courville.

The family has requested that visitation be observed at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs, on Tuesday from 5:00pm to 9:00PM and will continue on Wednesday from 8:00AM till time of service
