Krotz Springs A Funeral Service for Ila Mae Rushing Ardoin will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, 2013, in the First Baptist Church of Krotz Springs followed by interment in the church cemetery. The Reverend Chad Bolfa will conduct the service.
Mrs. Ardoin, age 83, a resident of Krotz Springs, LA died on Thursday, March 21, 2013, at her residence.

She was the head cook for the Krotz Springs Headstart Center and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her sons, Calvin R. Ardoin, Sr. and wife, Brenda, of Erwinville, LA Joseph TBoy M. Ardoin, Jr. and wife, Janice, of St. Francisville, LA Bradford Ardoin and fianc, Monica, of Krotz Springs, LA Charles L. Ardoin and wife, Barbara, of Prairieville, LA Delbert Ardoin and wife, Della, of Breaux Bridge, LA Michael Ardoin and wife, Shondel, of Krotz Springs, LA Chad K. Ardoin of Krotz Springs, LA her daughters, Sheryl A. LeBlanc and husband, Eddie, of Denham Springs, LA Mary S. Crouch and husband, Luther, of Montpelier, LA Connie S. Briggs of Ville Platte, LA Elizabeth Barker of Krotz Springs, LA her brothers, Lionel Linthecum and wife, Linda, of Texas Edward Linthecum and wife, Faye, of Texas Fred Linthecum, Jr. of Texas her sisters, Betty Hunt and husband, Cylde, of Texas and Marie Hartsell of Texas. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 30 greatgrandchildren and 6 greatgreat grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph To To Ardoin, Sr. her parents, Zelma Linthecum and Fred Rushing her stepfather, Fred Linthecum her sons, Ulynn E. Ardoin, Edwin T. Ardoin, Dwayne L. Ardoin, her grandsons, William Noonie Graham, John J.J. Templeton, Jr., Hoby J. Barker and her brother, Randolph Rushing.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs beginning on Saturday, March 23, 2013, from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on Sunday at 7:00 a.m. until time of service.
