Hugh Bihm, Jr.

Krotz Springs Funeral services for Hugh Butch Bihm, Jr. will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2011, in the First Baptist Church in Krotz Springs, La. followed by interment in the church cemetery. The Reverend Chad Bolfa will conduct the service.

Mr. Bihm, age 70, a resident of Krotz Springs, La., died on Monday, November 28, 2011 at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Hugh was a welder by trade and was a member of the Carpenters Local 1098 of Baton Rouge. He also was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Barbara Burleigh Bihm of Krotz Springs, La. his sons, Tommy D. Bihm of Opelousas, La. David T. Bihm of Krotz Springs, La. his daughter, Belinda Bihm Williams and husband, Kim, of Opelousas, La. his brother, Jimmy G. Bihm of Krotz Springs, La. and his sister, Ermadine Savoie of New Roads, La. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Christopher Arrocha Bihm, Edward L. Williams and Heather E. Williams.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Bihm, Sr. and Viola Stoute Bihm his brother, Johnny T. Bihm and his sister, Kathy Breaux.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs, beginning on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday until service time.
