Henry Wartelle Iii

Washington - The family requests visitation be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Washington.

Mr. Wartelle, age, 77, a resident of Opelousas, LA, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2015, at Senior Village Nursing Home in Opelousas, LA.

Pierre served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. He received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Southwestern Louisiana. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his brother, Thomas R. Wartelle and his sister, Marilyn Wartelle Burch.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Wartelle, Jr. and Vivian DeJean Wartelle Whiteman.

Pallbearers will be Thomas R. Wartelle, William Douglas Burch, Thomas H. Wartelle, Harold Woods, Jr., W. Scott Burch and Mike Wartelle.
