Henrietta Bellard

Funeral services for Henrietta Menard Bellard will be held on Monday October 19, 2009 at 1:00pm in the St. John Berchmans Catholic Church in Cankton. The interment will take place at the St. John Berchmans Mausoleum. Fr. Henry Broussard will conduct the services.

Mrs. Bellard, age 64 a resident of Opelousas died Saturday October 17, 2009 at the Louisiana Extended Care Hospital in Lafayette following a lengthy illness.

She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Survivors include her husband; Calvin Bellard of Opelousas, mother; Mildred C. Menard of Cankton, step father; Earlin Credeur of Cankton, sons; Ronnie Dean Joseph Bellard and friend Sabrina Rusich of Opelousas and Jessie Martin Bellard and wife Melissa Ann Bellard of Opelousas, daughter; Ginger Marie Bellard Kartchner and husband Willie of Krotz Springs, brothers Charles Menard of Lafayette and Don Menard of Cankton and 6 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father; Dupre Menard and a brother; Lawrence Brud Menard.

Visitation will be on Sunday October 18, 2009 from 3:00pm until 9:00pm and on Monday at 8:00am until time of services. A rosary will be recited on Sunday at 7:00pm.
