Funeral services for Hazel B. Richard will be held 2:00pm Friday June 1, 2007 at Our Lady Queen Of Angels Catholic Church. Interment to be at Bellevue Memorial Park.

Fr. Angelo Cremaldi will conduct the services.

Mrs. Richard, age 83 a resident of Opelousas died Wednesday May 30, 2007 at J. Michael Morrow Nursing Home. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, canning and cooking and she also loved to travel. She was a parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church. She also was a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Shueston Fire Department.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years; Curtis Richard of Opelousas, sons; Roy C. Richard of Opelousas and Carl W. Richard of Houston,Tx., brother; Norby Bellard of Carencro, sisters; Ruby Potter of Pineland, Tx., Elsie Richard of Duson, ElRose Weeden of Driftwood, Tx. 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Preceded in death by her parents; Sidney and Alicia Bellard.

Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00pm until 10:00pm and Friday from 8:00am until time of services. A rosary will be recited Thursday at 7:00pm.
