Funeral services for Guy C. Dupre will be held Monday May 19, 2008 at 1:00pm in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas Interment to take place at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Port Barre. Bro. Chad Bolfa will conduct the services.

Mr.Guy Dupre age 34, a resident of Krotz Springs died Friday May 16, 2008 in Opelousas.

He was a former Deputy with the St. Landry Parish Sheriffs Office and also worked with Greenes Entergy Corp.

Survivors include his wife; Celeste Dupre of Krotz Springs, parents; Ronald J. Dupre and Bonnie G. Dupre of Opelousas, daughters; Sierra Necole Dupre and Lacey Gayle Dupre both of Lafayette, stepson; Blake Sparrow of Krotz Springs, stepdaughter; Briana Sparrow of Krotz Springs, sister Stephanie Jones and her husband Loren of Oak Grove, La. and their children; Ashley Jones and Caitlin Jones; father and mother in law; Sidney and Vicki Fontenot of Clinton, Ms. and many loved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Floyce Dupre and Gloria Robin and his maternal grandparents; Azie Guillory and Sedonia Lalonde Guillory.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00pm until 10:00pm and Monday from 8:00am until time of services.

Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas is in charge of the arrangements.
