Gregory "Joey" Stelly, Jr.

Krotz Springs - Funeral services for Gregory "Joey" Stelly, Jr. will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Krotz Springs, La.  Reverend Clint Trahan will conduct the funeral service.  Burial will take place in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Port Barre, La.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gregory "Joey" Stelly, age 40, of Port Barre, La. on Saturday, March 6, 2021.

Joey was avid outdoorsman.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.  Joey will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by wife of 20 years, Tiffany Ortego Stelly, of Port Barre; his children, Owen Stelly, Josie Stelly and Addison Stelly all of Port Barre; his father, Gregory Stelly, Sr. of Krotz Springs; his mother, Lisa Ray, of Krotz Springs; his grandparents, Donald and Velma Stelly of Krotz Springs and Johnny and Barbara Ray of Krotz Springs, La.; his sisters, Casey Deranger and husband, Jarred, of Krotz Springs, Nicole St. Cyr and husband, Andrew, of Krotz Springs and Ashley Conway and husband, Richie, of Krotz Springs.  He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Ethan Stelly, Gavin Deranger, Zoey Ansley, Adam Deranger, Cade Conway, Hailey Conway, Tatum Deranger, Kendal Ansley, Cole Conway, Dane Michael St. Cyr and Maya Conway.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Johnny and Lurie Ray, Nolty and Theresa Stelly, Alphan and Gladys Belleau and Milton and Florence Duplichen.

Visitation will be held in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. by Reverend Clint Trahan.  The funeral home will reopen on Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until time of services at 3:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Richie Conway, Jarred Deranger, Kevin Armond, Michael Armond, John Dupont and Brad Polotzola.  Honorary pallbearers will be Ethan Stelly, Gavin Deranger, Adam Deranger, Cade Conway and Jody Stelly.
