Grace Stout

Opelousas A Mass of Christian Burial for Grace Deville Stout, age 82, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 16, 2012, in the Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Opelousas, La., followed by interment in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery. The Reverend Paul Bienvenu will conduct the Mass of Christian Burial.

Mrs. Stout, a resident of Opelousas, La., died on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at Prompt Succor Nursing Home in Opelousas, La.

Grace was a member of the Elks Auxiliary was a seamstress, loved quilting and loved cooking. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Harold Stout, of Opelousas, La. her sons, Keith Stout and wife, Georgia, of Opelousas, La Glenn Stout and wife, Mona, of Opelousas, La. Jeff Stout and wife, Sharon, of Sugarland, Texas Chris Stout and wife, Ken, of Plano, Texas her daughter, Karen Stout Richard and husband, Douglas, of Prairie Ronde, La. her sisters, Earnestine Deville Billeaudeau of Grand Prairie, La. and Ethlyn D. Joubert of Terrel, Texas. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Nicholas Stout, Andrew Stout, Jacob Stout, Duston Stout, Daniel Stout, Lacey Stout, Clint Richard, Angela Luneau, Paul Richard, Sarah Stout and Samuel Stout and 3 greatgrandchildren, Jonah Stout, Charles J. Stout and Summer Luneau.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas, beginning on Thursday, March 15, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Friday until service time. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
